  • Groups of 15 or less must negotiate meal prices directly with the Caterer.
  • The Centre's contract caterer is the sole supplier with the exception of one day programs.
  • Meals can focus on curriculum outcomes eg bush tucker however additional costs may apply depending upon needs.
  • Individual dietary requirements are also catered for as well as special occasions (eg. birthdays)
  • Adults accompanying Primary School groups will be charged adult rates for meals.

 Includes wetsuit/stingersuit, mask, snorkel, fins, vests and safety vessel.
Outrigging
 $7.50 student Includes outriggers, paddles, vests and safety vessel.
Plankton Trawl
 $10.00 student Includes evening use of vessel and stereo scope
Campouts
 $4.00 student/night Includes National Parks permit, tents, trangias and cooking utensils
Fish Dissection
 $3.50 student Includes 1 fish/student, scalpels and resource boards

 

 

Boat Transport

The Centre has a new vessel Gundoo Spirit which will provide services to and from North Keppel Island.
  • This 12m catamaran is purpose built for student and staff transport
  • Boat transport to NKIEEC will be organised by the Centre
  • ‘Gundoo Spirit’ will be able to transport residential groups of up to 42 people (Example 37 students + 5 adults)
  • It is expected that all students are able to pack all gear into a back pack or similar bag and be able to carry the bag on and off the boat
