Greenhouse

Visiting groups can use the greenhouse and its equipment to conduct plant studies. All native plants are used to revegetate areas around the centre to provide habitats for native animals.

Floods

Floods from the Fitzroy River empty rafts of vegetation into Keppel Bay. Animals and plants can be carried to North Keppel Island on these rafts. Biosecurity issues need to be monitored and managed by Queensland Parks and Wildlife staff.
